Certificate in University Teaching and Learning

CERTIFICATE IN UNIVERSITY TEACHING AND LEARNING

In 2008, the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus introduced the Certificate in University Teaching and Learning for faculty. The programme consists of four courses: 

  • CUTL 5001 - Teaching and Learning: Theory to Practice
  • CUTL 5104 - Assessment in Higher Education
  • CUTL 5106 - Advancing Teaching and Learning with Technology
  • CUTL 5207 - Reflective Teaching for Learning

The course CUTL 5207 is a practicum in university teaching and participants engage in reflective teaching and learning, planning, reflecting, documenting their teaching and learning from their teaching.
