The Alma Jordan Library's (AJL) collection includes law books (monographs, scholarly books, textbooks, and treatises) in print and electronic format.
There are also websites that facilitate access to such content.
The AJL's collection is organised according to the Library of Congress Classification (LCC) system. For The AJL's Classification Directory, click here. Law, in general, is located in the K call number section (4th Floor, Social Sciences Division).
However, K materials may also be found in Course Reserves (Ground Floor) and West Indiana and Special Collections Division (2nd Floor). Furthermore, law-related content may be found within other subject Divisions (Engineering, Humanities, Science and Agriculture, Social Sciences). That is, on other floors, throughout the Library. As such, while browsing the stacks and their shelves is useful, it will be more efficient to use UWIlinC to determine the call number, location, and availability of a specific title of interest.
This section outlines a selection of K call numbers by subject.
