The University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine Campus and the Trinidad and Tobago Intellectual Property Office (TTIPO) of the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs provides this Intellectual Property Help Desk Service.
The objective of The UWI Intellectual Property Help Desk is geared towards providing the entire UWI St. Augustine campus community with the ease of access to education, information, training and advisory services in the field of Intellectual Property (IP).
This initiative is strategic and comes at an opportune time when The UWI, St. Augustine is placing greater emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship as highlighted in the Triple A Strategy – Strategic Plan as well as an increase in IP disclosure for inventions is envisaged.
