NATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Prof. Lalor has been involved in many national initiatives which have contributed to the scientific and technological development of Jamaica. He has been a member  and Chairman of the Scientific Research Council and  the Jamaica Bureau of Standards, both institutions which have guided the country’s industrial development and facilitated the application of scientific research to national development. 

He has served as Chairman of the Electoral Advisory Committee.

Prof. Lalor has been involved in several philanthropic organisations, among them United Way of Jamaica and the Jamaica Council for the Handicapped.
