Books, sometimes called monographs, are held in both print and electronic format at the Alma Jordan Library.
The print versions of books are classified according to a system called Library of Congress (LC) classification, which means you can find them located on the shelves according to subject areas. Please see our classification guide for the location of books according to subject areas.
The 3rd floor of the Alma Jordan Library holds the majority of books pertinent to the Humanities.
There are also a number of books in electronic format. For more information about e-books you can view The Guide created by our Electronic Resources Librarian or click on the Databases tab.
