APA Style by the American Psychological Association is the referencing style which the UWI thesis guide states should be used by students in the School of Education (SoE), Faculty of Humanities and Education, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago.

  • All students from 2022-2023 onwards are to use APA 7th. edition

EndNote 20 - Download

EndNote 20 is a programme to manage a database of your references.

  •  You may enter references manually or download citation files from information databases. This software allows you to insert your in-text citation and format your list of references in a reference style of your choice in an MS Word document.

For currently enrolled students, EndNote 20 for Windows and Mac is available for download on the UWI STA student portal.

Log on to the UWI STA student portal.

There is a folder called "EndNote 20" on this page in the Documents folder:  https://my.uwi.edu/group/mycampus/my-documents.

Scroll down to EndNote 20.

Click on EndNote 20 and a memo with the link to the download is presented. You need your student portal credentials to download the files.

For UWI staff, contact your faculty/department LAN administrator who can install on your computer/laptop.
