Technical Standards: Finding Standards

Hard copies of standards held in the Alma Jordan Library (AJL) can be found by searching the library's catalogue and/or checking with the staff in the Engineering Division of the Alma Jordan Library via email engmail@sta.uwi.edu or telephone (868) 662-2002 ext. 82244.

To locate a standard, please ensure you have at least some of the following details:

•     Name of the publishing organization (often referred to as the NSB (National Standards Body) or SDO (Standards Developing Organization)) e.g. TTBS, ISO
•     Standard number e.g. 9001 
•     Title e.g. National Electrical Code

The Alma Jordan Library has a collection of standards from a wide cross-section of Professional Associations, Organizations and Companies.  Selected standards are available from some of the institutions/organizations listed below while the entire collection is available from those in highlighted in bold.
