Course Reading List Builder (STA)

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to use Course Reading List Builder at The UWI, St. Augustine Campus.

What is Course Reading List Builder

Course Reading List Builder is a tool that allows you to easily create course reading lists from directly within The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus’ (STA) learning management system (LMS), myeLearning.

It facilitates the:

  • discovery of Library resources (lecturers and students)

  • creation of direct links to Library and web resources (lecturers)

  • access to reading list materials (lecturers and students)

  • collection of reading list/item level usage statistics (Library and lecturers)

    • The use of Library-subscribed resources helps the Campus Libraries to justify the expenditure on/investment in such resources.

    • Course Reading List Builder's collection of statistics is currently set to "detailed". 

Note: EBSCO's Curriculum Builder has been named Course Reading List Builder at The UWI, STA Campus.

Who Can Use Course Reading List Builder

In order to create reading lists using Course Reading List Builder, you must be a current UWI STA staff member (Faculty) and have:

  • Access to myeLearning (UWI STA);
  • Editing teacher (role) access to a course in myeLearning (UWI STA). If you do not have such access, please visit here.
