About The Journal

Caribbean Curriculum is an annual peer-reviewed journal of the School of Education, The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. It provides a forum for the publication of scholarly articles on the education systems of the English-speaking Caribbean written by scholars both within and outside the region.

Focus and Scope

The journal publishes work from all relevant subject areas, but priority is given to those that, in addition to showing acceptable scholarship, fulfil one or more of the following criteria:

  1. describe or evaluate experiments in curriculum intervention that have relevance for Caribbean school systems
  2. discuss theoretical matters that can favourably affect thought on education in the Caribbean
  3. promote continuous curriculum renewal in the Caribbean region

Caribbean Curriculum Volume 29, 2022

“Whether they are examining data use in a school or trying to identify a destructive leader or examining literacy practices, researchers [in this issue] demonstrate a keen sensitivity to the backdrop against which their ideas, theories and interventions evolved.” Dr Jeniffer Mohammed, Chief Editor (2019 - 2023)
