These are some of the free databases  that can be used to find a listing of standards on a variety of topics. Links to some Caribbean standards databases are included here.

BSI Standards Catalogue  A listing of the national standards body (British Standards Institution or BSI),  of the United Kingdom.

Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) Search the Bureau to find Jamaican standards on a topic.

IHS Standards Store   is a single-source provider of critical technical information from more than 370 Standards Developing Organizations, tier-1 manufacturers and key government agencies worldwide.

ISO/ IEC Information Technology Standards (free)

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) collaborate to  develop worldwide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) standards for business and consumer applications.

The National Information Standards Organization (NISO)

The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) is where content publishers, libraries, and software developers turn for information industry standards that allow them to work together.

The Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) database of standards contains bibliographic information on over eight hundred voluntary and compulsory local standards. These standards have either been developed by the Bureau and/or adopted and/or replaced.
