This guide assists users to do references in the ACS (American Chemical Society) Style.


This guide provides resources to assist with citing and referencing sources in the (American Chemical Society) ACS format.

This is the style recommended by the UWI Thesis Guide for the students of the Department of Chemistry.

One exception in the Dept of Chemistry is that students in Occupational Health and Safety use the Chicago Manual of Style 16th ed IAuthor - Date format.

The ACS style is used by the staff and students of the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science and Technology, The University of the West Indies.
