A click through guide for finding articles in UWIlinC
Select the Article by Subject menu option. Click on Advanced Search. Click on the Find databases hyperlink. The FIND DATABASES option allows you to search for specific remote databases and include these databases in UWIlinC searches.
A pop-up A-Z screen of databases will appear. Click on the drop down Subject box to reveal a listing of disciplines that can help you with your search.
This is useful especially when you do not know which databases are relevant for your specific need. Select a subject area, then select your faculty and from the Subcategories dropdown menu select your disciplinary/subject area. Click on the FIND DATABASES button. A list of the databases relevant to your disciplinary area will be populated below. From this list you can select your databases to be searched.
Once you have made these selections click on SELECTION COMPLETED. This action takes you back to the UWIlinC Homepage. You are now ready to type in your search strategy.
